[Misato looks less like crap than she should, considering she's been wallowing in her room for the past couple of days ever since the cherry blossom fiasco ended. She doesn't remember A LOT of it, but she knows enough to know that it was disgusting and shameful and everything she's been wanting to do to herself. God, she hates herself right now.

Why wouldn't I be concerned? Normal humans don't have a chance in Hell out there on their own. Not without heavy artillery and a lot of planning and having to plan a tactical manuever around how to get home at night is bullshit.

And if it's really just explained away by it being the darker parts of men's souls given life, that just makes it worse.
