[ He goes to reply after the fourth utterance of "yards", then blinks when he gets cut off. ]

[ It's only then that he thinks to ask - ] Why'd you need to know, anyway?

[She cocks her head at him.]

I want to perform an experiment relating to distance.

And... how would that go?

It would go as me being thrown far away from the island, and then noting how it affects me.
