I'm curious. Does one go about losing people? Is it like losing a wallet? Did you leave them behind the sofa by accident? Or were they pulled into a pocket universe? It's dreadful when that happens, really.

Well, often is a tricky term, really. I suppose one could say it happens often, though rarely to one single person. The universe is full of "oftens" that aren't very often at all, honestly.
