Eight months is a long time for anyone to be here, let alone in a relationship. It's not just interesting, it's important. I want everyone to know... because I really love him so much. [He's getting kind of misty.]

We did it up really nicely for our six-month, but we did have some fun today, so I guess that counts as a celebration... [thoughtfully]

You should celebrate every month. Make it extra-special by the time it hits the first year.

[Franz doesn't know this woman, but she reminds him a little of his old roommate, that sunny girl who just happened to be Death.] We both work so much it would be almost impossible to find that kind of time. But... maybe we can make a little dinner or something nice like that. Provided he's not still mad at me over this by tomorrow.
