Foster’s Killer Caught, Political Scandal at Hand

The killer of Professor Karl Foster, professor of Civic Engineering Political Science at SPU was caught late last night by Newcomer police officer Re-l Mayer. Benjamin Reid, an ex-bounty hunter, was seen entering a warehouse late last night in Sector 7. The police had traced his IP address back through several threats that had been sent to Professor Foster by e-mail. Reid had used various computers to send the threats and had tried to scramble his IP address through multiple proxy servers.

The police tried to lure him out with some sort of job offer and he was cornered in the warehouse. Knowing that he had bone manipulation powers, the police went in carefully and subdued him after some difficulty. Reid was one of Foster's students years ago and left his class on a bad note. He may not have had any problems with killing him, but the surprises don't end there.

When questioned thoroughly by Lieutenant Briggs, and Corporal Mayer, he finally broke down and admitted that he was hired to do the job. When pressed, he said it was someone who was mentioned at the Public Integrity Forum earlier in July. If this is true, then this means that someone in office has been pulling the strings and that this might be a bigger scandal than previously thought.
