[ She glances over her shoulder briefly, and then glances back to the NV with a laugh. ] Oh really? I'd be honored. How many names have you come up with her so far?

Oh, that's a cute name too. [ She laughs. ] Tricky to come up with new names. You'll have too many to know what to do with before long. What breed is she?

We could begin with why you're looking like some sort of snow queen. Costume party to attend, is it?

Oh that - [ Cough. ] No, nothing like that. I was given a drink - one of the ones Haruhi made at that bar ..er... Gearheads. Apparently it did this. I expect it'll wear off sooner or later.

Supposedly a few other people who've had drinks from her had something strange happen to them too.

Such as their hair going white? What's meant to be in that drink, anyway, so I can avoid it? Not that it's hideous, mind, you still manage to look fit.

Such as that, yes. I hear another lad actually grew wings or some such, according to her. I don't actually know what was in it - but it certainly looked like some manner of witch's brew. Easy enough to avoid - especially if they're serving that manner of drink at Gearheads.

[ A grin at the latter. ] Much appreciated - I think the look was a bit of a shock for everyone, let alone myself. But I still have hair at least, so I shall take my small blessings where I can.

Hair, but no wings. A sad end of the deal, I'd say, or at least less exciting than it could have been. Is it just that, then? No other lasting effects?

[A moment of thought, and then he grins.]

Tragic really! I think I would have liked flapping about like a bird. But it's probably for the best all the same. Confidentially, I imagine it would have been difficult to get through the doors. [ She pauses to consider the last one. ] I had a nasty bout of the hiccups earlier, but that's since been resolved, thankfully. But other than that, no, thankfully.

[ She giggles at the latter. ]

You must be the second to say that. But I suppose if my hair was meant to be white as snow, then yes, it does suit - surprisingly, really. I didn't think white would look particularly well on me. I'd still rather my normal hair color though, personally.

I didn't think hiccups were connected to premature whiteness. Or do you think the incidents were unrelated? Still, I s'ppose you wouldn't want a load of drastic changes--hiccups or white hair or wings or any combination thereof. Best to keep things simple eh?

You could always colour it, anyway, if you're that opposed.
