[ The screen flickers to life, displaying a very befuddled teenager flipping through the pages of what appears to be a Driver's Handbook. Looks like someone is rapidly approaching a very important mark of adulthood, but he intends to meet it in a glorious train wreck of epic proportions. If that's not foreboding enough, his next words should probably do the trick.]
I got a question. This one guy I gave a flier to this afternoon-- he started talking about all this stuff you're supposed to do when you get older.
So... Say you've flown a spaceship [Or gummi ship rather.] before, and sailed on a pirate ship. And you've even ridden a motorcycle while fighting bad guys... then how come you'd need a license before you could drive a car?
Paperwork? Tests? Classes? It's like school all over again. I mean, how hard could it be? It's not like a computer. Brake. Accelerator. Steering wheel. Simple enough. Right?
Filtered from Roxas:
[A shrug of his shoulders and he sets down the handbook.] Anyway, that's not the real reason I wanted to talk to you guys.
What I really wanted to ask was ... Say you've gotta take a couple days off from work or school, and fast. How do you give your boss the slip?
[Technically, Roxas is his own boss. But who knows! Maybe once the ideas get rolling, he'll come up with something real creative! One way or another, he's gonna help Roxas catch a break.]
Private to Riku:
[Sora leans in closer, hand on his hip-- all on account of being super serious! Where it all goes to pieces is his face; He's on the verge of breaking out in laughter as it is. He can't keep the smile off his face for anything.]
You're in big trouble, mister!
