[ Writing her thoughts out is not one of Chane's exercised skills. Sharing her thoughts publically is unheard of. Yet there have been certain things going on in the port, especially on the network, that have caught her attention-- all she can do is note down a few of them for discussion perhaps, a reminder to herself to investigate (or, if they are inconsequential, to drop), or simply a fleeting thought she did not want to forget. ]

There are many children in this city. They seem to be fine without their parents present.

Young adults, too, have settled well. It is not a matter of age whether one can settle, however. Rather a matter of environment and people.

Different worlds exist, but I belong to only one of them. It is the same for each person. People come in from the same time and the same town, recognising one another. There have been two from the world to which I belong, already.

The Pull must know this.

Regardless of whether it is sentient, his presence in the city is not a coincidence.

Bonding without blood relations. Sharing plans and the past. Open places to stay.

People here, too, are kind.

... It is also difficult to tell when the rules of Solitaire are being broken if I am playing alone.

[ She's puzzled and abandoned a very neat but unfinished game of Solitaire on her bedroom floor, having tried her best after Rin taught her the basics. Currently she's just browsing the network post-chores. Replies will be in text; for residents of the boarding-house and action posts, she's sat at the top of the third-to-fourth floor staircase, NV in her lap. ]
