[Andrea's face once more appears in the communicator screens. She looks worried, downright scared actually.]
I think I need... [She takes a deep breath] Okay, a few nights ago, I went outside after the sirens. And I saw a rose. It's the first flower I've seen since I got here, and I had to have it, you know? So I bent down...and it smiled. SMILED. I didn't even know roses could smile...
And then it started to grow, and the roots grew everywhere.
[She folds her arms across her chest.]
They grew up over my neck, and over my lips... I could feel it moving inside of me.
[She takes another shaky breath]
I tore at the flower and it diasappeared. The monster disappeared, and it was just a rose. The roots disappeared and I could move again, and I could talk. But oh god. I think I swallowed it. I think there's a monster inside me.
[She's desperate, and it's obvious] Please can somebody help me? Please?
