Nothing makes you feel less homesick than a tower of paperwork. Christ. I've been at this since the better part of the morning and I've hardly made a dent. Chaining an officer to his desk for two days is a damn funny way to praise good detective work. [mundy police work is so inefficient. It was so much easier to just give orders and follow through with them; only corpse clean-up required.]
If I'd known it would cause me this much grief, I would have left the powder under the fish and gone to see a good movie.
