Good morning, fellow newcomers! My name is Franziska von Karma, and along with my [ a very brief pause before the next word ] friend, Mr. Yosuke Hanamura, accompanying me here today, I have some announcements to bring regarding some upcoming events that should be of interest to everyone in the newcomer community.

SIREN'S PORT'S NEWCOMER FUNDRAISING MARATHON
Who: You.
What: A marathon to raise funds for projects to enhance the newcomer experience.
When: Friday, July 22nd 2011
Where: Starting from the Sector 11 docks, the route will be finalized closer to the date.
Why: To raise funds, obviously, for future projects to benefit the Newcomer community. Food and rewards will be provided, as well as forms for recording pledges.
NEWCOMER APARTMENTS WORKING BEE
Who: You.
What: A collective gathering of newcomers to provide the labour required to help restore and improve the state of the Tower Apartments.
When: Saturday, July 23rd - Sunday, July 24th 2011
Where: At the aforementioned apartments, located within Sector 4.
Why: To improve the state of the apartments. Food will be provided.

I'm not really good at these sort of things, Fran. But, I think that it's mostly covered here. [Nervous laugh.] And hey, why not after we all finish working and running ... we could go to a karaoke bar or something? All work and no play -- I mean, food's nice and all, Fran, but there should be a better reward than that, right?
A karaoke bar again? Hmph, people are free to do as they please afterwards, it's no concern of mine, but if there's enough interest in some sort of social gathering afterwards, then I suppose a booking could be arranged. In any case, I hope to see as many of you as possible attending and assisting at these two events.

Fran's super cute and you'd seriously miss out in not doing these events to help people out because you'd miss out on her pretty face---[FOOT GETTING STOMPED ON.] -- OW!
