I'm looking for a flatmate.  Or, well, more than one, I suppose.  I just want to find somewhere a bit cheaper than where I am at the moment.  My wage is decent, but I feel like I should be saving it ( Read more... )

I have... a place, I guess. But I'm kind of looking for a new one, too, since it's-- bigger than what I need right now.

[More like, everyone else left.]

[She remembers that someone left, and frowns a little.] Do you have empty rooms? If you're settled there, maybe it'd be better to try and get people to take them up.

...Of course, I'd understand if you want to move away from there too.

We had-- used to have-- five people in three rooms. It's not really big, but.

It was okay when people didn't mind sharing. Now this place feels too big. So I don't know... I figured it would be a good idea to move.

[No luck finding another place yet, though. No one seems to want a younger teen as a tenant.]

I think a fresh start might do you good. Have you tried looking for anywhere new at all? Do you need to stay close to somewhere?

If you really want to try this, maybe we should meet up somewhere and talk face to face? [She smiles a little; it'd be nice to speak to him properly anyway. She's still not entirely used to talking to people who aren't physically there.]

Would free be cheap enough for you, mademoiselle? You would simply need to do your part around the complex, mais, where I live we don't really have "rent".

No offense, but how can you afford to let people stay for free? [She pauses, and shifts a little, running her hand through her short hair in embarrassment.] I'm no mademoiselle, either.

Thanks, though.

You would have to ask Michael about that, he's the one that properly owns the place. I simply live there and cook there, and chip in for groceries when I can. [He smiles.] Mais, as long as you help out, it is marvelous to live in. We have plenty of extra perks, too - a pool, libraries and conference rooms, studies, exercise rooms, lounges, and of course roomy apartments. And on top of that, a top-notch chef living on the premises. [Francis means himself, obviously.]

De rien, it is no trouble.

((I'm so sorry for the late reply. D: ))

Michael? Ah... Maybe I should talk to him, then. It sounds like a lovely place, though.
