[There's a rustle and a dull thud as the NV is set down. It's followed by a voice with a French flair to it letting out a soft yelp, followed by "Ah la la, be careful!"]
Oops! Damn. [More rustling and the video feed clicks on. To those who have seen it, the camera is pointed at the wall of the House of Awesome communal kitchen. Two small hands - stained dark colors from berries - appear on the counter and then a young, thin face of a boy pops up. Erik's ink black hair is starting to curl from sweat, but his blue eyes are bright.]
So! I don't think Francis will mind my borrowing this. ["Only if you cease trying to drop it!", says the French-accented voice.] Mine sort of had a little accident. Which reminds me, Reeve? Um...I might need to borrow some tools.
ANYWAY. Not the point today!
Today, is Jubilee's birthday. It seems she forgot about it. Francis helped me make her dessert, but if people would like to wish her a happy birthday? That would be wonderful. Things have been really tense lately, she could use it.
[And he picks it up, a beautiful, perfect chocolate cheesecake covered in mixed berries and whipped cream is panned before he clicks it off.]
