What manner of "clear cut lines" have you been seeking out, Kazuhiko?

And what's happened to you?

I was hoping that because there are more literal monsters in the Port, that those illusive figurative monsters whom I've heard and read about not just here but in my world as well, would be a little easier to spot.

Given that they actually exist at all. If there could ever be such a thing. [Please say there can't be. A beat of time between the second question and its answer.]

You would be one of the few to believe that I don't actually remember what happened.

Figurative monsters. You mean people who commit monstrous acts? I shouldn't think that impossible to spot.

It happened to Shinji, then?

It's not impossible to spot, but there are times that it's difficult.

He's the only one who would willingly put himself in a gun fight, I would think.

You seem to be troubled. Are you afraid that your condition makes you some kind of monster?

Would you argue against that opinion?

Would you like me to?

Perhaps you should be seeing Dr. Seward again.

My opinion won't change regardless, though I'm interested to know others opinions.

Dr. Seward? [The name doesn't sound familiar.]

I'm not sure the doctors I have now would consent to outside treatment. But I'll keep the name for the sake of the future, Doctor, thank you.

And prior to this episode, they said you were progressing well?

Shinji's activity levels have been existent, but not overwhelming. And prior to this incident, there's nothing to suggest he's done any harm to others.

[Which is honestly more worrying than if he had.]
