We are doctors, not miracle workers, and this is an exceptional case.

I believe that my colleagues at Skye have followed through to the best of their ability, up to this point. I know there are some who will disagree with them passing the torch to SERO's hospital, but there are simply some circumstances where we've done all we can. This mother was asking too much of them, to continue letting her carry to term.

I see. I suppose that is one positive quality of human raw materials-- that unwillingness to simply give in to circumstance, that is. It is quite impressive.

For that reason, I hope the situation does progress favorably for some time.

I don't work in obstetrics here. But I have come under public scrutiny before, for concealing an inpatient's whereabouts from police, media and public.

To protect her from all the hype and rioters, during recovery- she found the core, and was exposed to large amounts of radiation. Its discovery wound the whole city up.
