[The video open to reveal Fai, sitting on the rail of the balcony of his apartment, lazily slouched over with his elbows resting on his knees, the ruins of an older building there in the background, not too long after morning sirens. He's dressed in a plain teeshirt and jeans, as well as the ever-present black eye-patch. He's holding a cup and even ( Read more... )

[oh the stories she has heard about this guy and she doesn't even know it yet. Still... she smiles brightly to the video]

Good morning to you as well. What would you like to know about the school system here? It's... a bit different thena some places it seems.

[Also, this is more exciting news to her] I wish you all the best of luck with the bistro. I intend to make it down there once in a while.

Thanks! We'll look forward to having you come by then~

[Oh but none ALL of them are true, right? His own smile is softer, more muted, but friendly all the same.]

Honestly, I'm not even sure where to begin. I've only ever had private tutors, so while Sakura appears to have had a similar mass education, we're not quite sure how to adjust what she's learned to the system here.

[Oh you never know, they could be true- A very good friend of hers was Syaoran so very long ago.]

[Giving a small pondering look, finger tapping her chin lightly she considered carefully at first] Well, there is the possibility for private tutors here. I hear a lot of people do that. What age would she be? There is a chance she could take classes focused on subjects at the college. That's what I'm doing.

[LOL, well then they probably are fairly true - Syaoran was always a good kid. Mostly.]

Mmm, well Sakura-chan's only thirteen so I doubt she's ready for that level of classes quite yet - that is, if I'm understanding the basic structure correctly?

[Indeed! He was her hero]

Oh, that is a bit young. I hate to say it but the school system isn't the best here. Or I should say some of the Newcomer children who have gone have had more then their share of troubles. Perhaps a tutor really would be the best. The upper levels, like college and trade schools have seemed... well, alright up until recently, but the elementary schools just feel... harsh.

[Fai's too, in little ways.]

Is that so? [He definitely has something to frown over with that then, because it created all manner of problems for him. The least of which being:]

And she was so excited at the prospect of attending school again. She'll be heartbroken. Do you know of anyone that does the tutoring, by chance? Or someone I can speak to, to get her in with another person around her age to be tutored with?
