[This time, opening the video feed, Haruhi doesn't look incredibly excited, as before. Her eyes are still glimmering, but post-talent show and beach party, she's a little more pensive, and she sounds rather like a normal girl of her age.]
Totally weird news about those students on the beach, huh? This whole island is a big closed circle, you know. As if students trying to leave the circle and mutating into mermaids wasn't weird enough, though... that beach is haunted, and no one can find them anymore -- it's a really good mystery adventure opportunity.
It's dramatic rule number sixty that until the corpses are found, you should assume the people are actually alive! So who knows how deep this mystery goes?
[A slight pause -- ...She feels reluctant to repeat her mistake of a couple weeks ago, after all. She's going to be much nicer about this one.]
So, who wants to come investigate? During the day? It could be really cool, I think. I mean, hanging out on the beach yesterday definitely just made me want to go back again. And all of your fighting that big evil guy and depressing Father's Day notes are over, right?
