Tenth Darkfall {Video}
[The video feed is static initially. But then, it manages to momentarily catch a glimpse of someone--a familiar girl in a dark hood. But there's something wrong. Her smile isn't really hers, and is instead far more wicked. But it's only a quick glimpse before the screen is static again. And then, finally, after a few more glitched screens, it settles on the girl. And yes, indeed, her smile is off.]
All hearts begin in darkness, and all so end. Even a heart so full of light can be so completely consumed as this. Such is the heart's nature.
[Her voice is odd. While there is definitely her voice, much quieter, layered under her own, is another voice. Deep and male, and probably familiar to quite a few people: Ansem.]
But what do humans such as yourselves know of the heart? It has already been proven to me you know little. And one who knows nothing can understand nothing. Therefore, you can only understand little of the heart and its true essence. You may posit theories, hold entire panels over this one topic, but none can understand the heart in the ways that I can.
[There's a cruel chuckle there, and the NV is drawn back enough. Another bit of static, and then she--he--stands in full view of the video feed. The hood is lowered, and there, yes, indeed, is Xion. But the way she speaks isn't her own way, definitely, and there is a certain wrongness to her movements.]
I know all that there is to know. But soon, it will matter little. Soon, the door will open, and this world will plunge into everlasting darkness. I've been given the tools for such a thing. Seven pure hearts, gathered. And finally, the vessel with the ability to wield the needed Key.
Soon, every light will fade. Every heart will return to the darkness from whence it came.
