As some of you have seen already on the newsfeed, after months of work, Newcomers are now eligible to apply for citizenship here in Siren's Port. I know that many of you do not feel that citizenship is needed, but there are many things that can be gained by having citizenship, such as the right to vote for whatever official you may want in the elections that the city will be holding at the end of this month, as well as better job offers for those who may need it.

I implore all of you to come to the Newcomer Community Center at 9:00 am to 12:00 pm to be given the two hour lecture and booklet about this city's history, and then take the test afterwards to be granted citizenship. You will know right away whether you have failed it or passed, and the swearing in ceremony will take place after.

[He pauses, moving some papers around.]

Now, I realize that there will be many of you that will be unable to go to the testing because of personal issues and abilities that may make it hard to be in a crowd of people. We are currently working on something that will make it easier for those people to get the lesson and take the test as well. Those are the only reasons why anyone should not be at the Community Center to take the test.

And for those who are worried about protesters that will be there, you do not have to. We will make sure that it is safe for everyone to come in and out of the Center, and if anyone starts any violence, be them Newcomer or other, they will not be tolerated and our security will make sure they are removed quickly.

If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know.

Needless to say, I expect you all to be there. I doubt anything will get out of hand, but security will be in place in case any of the protestors become violent; I know we all hope that they will not. I also know that you are all busy with work, but time will be needed for this. If you have any other Newcomers that work with you, encourage them to come; we need as many as possible to become citizens.

You all will be there to take the test. No exceptions. Every Lion's Gate employee who is also a Newcomer will be at the Community Center at 9:00 am. I will see you all there.

Tell that AGI fairy when she calls again that she can direct all new questions to the General manager, if she can find him, because I am not finding her a goddamn unicorn right now.

I realize that you should be recovering, but I can trust you and your people will have the Center ready by tomorrow morning?
