You know, they actually teach chemistry in schools these days. It might not be worth it, teaching teenagers how to blow themselves up, but you get paid for it, anyway. And I hear tenure's nice.

And here I've just been doing freelance work for the locals. You can't trust them, but they don't seem to mind paying you under the table when you know what you're talking about.

You could be the first freelance chemist. ...Well, no. I think they call those something else, depending on what they're making. But I don't think you have much of a future in the drug business.
