Grimmjow's lip curls visibly at being called son. It's not entirely without reason, the obviously near retirement senior office of the pair could very well be his father, were Grimmjow himself something as ordinary as a human. The senior officer, with his slight paunch and his salt-and-pepper hair and the obvious bags from several consecutive nights of work, isn't that much of a threat. Nor is he trying to be one.
This intersection is just that kind of post - more than one car accident, more than one mugging. Nobody should be here this time of day.
The senior cop puts his hand on Grimmjow's shoulder, glancing down at the NV he's holding, still mid-signal, then up at his face. "You're a newcomer, right? It's not safe around here for you, either."
Very subtle tension begins to course down his arms. The other cop, the younger one, the fresh-cut rookie that's got his hand close to the firearm in his belt, tenses with him. If Grimmjow were to ask (not that he will, or would), he'd learn there'd been a shooting here yesterday. No suspects, other than the reactive, understandable suspicion toward corporations, gangs, and outsiders.
Grimmjow sees him move toward his weapon and the fingers of his free hand, out of sight of the NV's camera, curl into a first. Anger slips across his expression. ]
How about I tell you to fuck off?
[ The senior cop frowns sternly, almost looking behind him to see what his partner is doing, but he keeps his attention firmly focused on Grimmjow and very pointedly does not draw on him, nor raise his voice.
"Now listen here, it's just a question, nothing else. You don't have to answer it. You can just head on home, that's all."
The second officer rests his fingers on his holster. Grimmjow's frown starts to deepen, pulling down into a snarl. He pockets his NV and the feed cuts. ]
