[ the video clicks on to a view of a bedroom in one of the starter apartments-- there's a small figure seated on the bed, facing away from the nv. his long rabbit ears are pulled forward, so they sort of blend with his white skin and hair as he gingerly works his shirt up one of his arms-- it's injured, which is apparent from the clumsily-wrapped, blood-spotted bandages that extend from his shoulder down nearly to his elbow. there's also bandages wrapped around his waist, as well, blood-spotted near the right side of his spine.
he gets his shirt up over his shoulders with a faintly pained hiss, and both ears flick back again as he moves to button it, rising from the bed and turning-- only to spot the nv. he scowls at it, doing up the last of the buttons and tying the bow as he crosses the room to snatch it off the wall. the video shakes as he turns it this way and that. ]
I really have to figure out how to turn this stupid thing off better.
[ he sighs, righting the watch again as he sinks back down onto the edge of the bed. ]
.. I've been considering the issue of a.. job. [ one of his ears flick, swiveling up slightly, though his expression remains a scowl. ] Since I doubt anyone's in need of a somewhat rusty herald, I suppose I can rely on my skill in a kitchen..
[ he trails off, biting his lip. after a moment, he takes a ragged breath, crimson eyes taking on a faintly pleading note. ]
And.. if anyone's seen my Alice, I'd appreciate being informed.
