Fail-Lock to Itachi:  'Dry Clean Only,' huh. Six costumes is excessive but the job pays well, and she doesn't seem to care which we wear as long as we match. Yours are on your bed.

We're night shift this week. Seems permanent but she's being fickle, so our hours are "prone to change."

Meant to be Public:

Bounty hunting, thieving, even assassination has its places. The dark belly of the underworld has to be there, so the light can shine. People need to realise the world isn't just the grey and white they can see. There's a lot of black too.

However! That doesn't mean there shouldn't be rules. Assassins, thieves, and bounty hunters should live by a code of ethics. Sure, those ethics only apply to themselves, but they are ethics. Of a sort.

Oh, please. Do elucidate these ethics you propose.

Where I'm from, Assassins don't kill children, or kill in front of them. Thieves don't target single parents unless they have a LOT of money. Bounty hunters double check that there's a real legal reasons for a bounty, rather than just turning over someone for the money. So, yes, there are ethics. Some others have personal ethics on top of that.

The worst killer I knew back home, wouldn't hurt a kid no matter what, or allow anyone else to either.

[Can you HEAR the eye roll?! CAN YOU?]

Dude. Would you rather a child molester, who's been let go on a technicality, be back on the street or dead? Yes, Assassins murder, and Thieves take things that aren't theirs, but they're not all bad.

[muttered] Some are really nice people.

Ah, if they're nice. Of course. That makes all the difference in the world.

I would rather that due process be served. Always. I would rather not have these murderers circumventing it.

Eh, the gal's got the right idea. Sometimes you gotta go about getting things settled unconventionally.

And in the end, stuff's better for it.

Oh? Please, instruct me in the way that extrajudicial killings "help."
