[After a little fumbling, the video feed clicks on and Shoshanna comes into focus, blinking with startled eyes at the video camera suddenly embedded in her gold compact. She's still dressed in her 1940s-era attire, looking more tired than usual. Behind her is the familiar view of one of the Tower apartments, dingy wall and narrow bed. Her brow draws together faintly as she studies her own image in the compact. She was told about the network upon arriving in Siren's Port, but this is her first time accessing it, so she's admittedly bewildered. She tries to remain casual, unruffled-looking as she begins speaking in English heavily accented by her native French.]
I understand I am stuck here. A different world, I was told by those people in the field.
