From time to time, a kitten crawls across his lap; then toddles off, unsteadily, on its way. ]
I never thought of myself as the sort of person who cared much for creature comforts. Such things are vanities. The niceties of birth and position, the quantity of possessions, the sumptuousness of one's surroundings -- none of it matters, in the end.
Yet somehow I now find myself in possession of - creatures.
[ Grell never had any liking for pets - until, that is, the Core went haywire and transmogrified his powers into shapeshifting. Which, in turn, transmogrified him into a cat. An aftereffect of the experience seems to be a lingering affinity for felines (though not to the point of obsession, as with a certain demon butler!) ]
In short - we need a bigger flat. Thus I put the question to you, Siren's Port: where do you live? How do you live? Do you like it? Or, in turn, what don't you like?
Tell me everything! And if you're lucky - if you're very lucky - you might have some new neighbours…
