[Kyoji turns on his NV, looking much better than he did a few days previous, when he arrived. His skin has begun to show color again, now that he's had time to rest and some food. The bruises he sustained on his world are now fading into yellows and light greens, and the cuts all over his visible skin are mostly healed. He's got a little bit of a smile on his face, too.]

So, according to my NV, it's May 20th. That makes today my birthday.

[A small pause, and then a slight chuckle.]

Can one be negative two hundred years old?
