[Polly is sitting, massaging her temple.] This blasted place is giving me such a headache.
[Pause, looks up.] O-oh, is it on already? It's going to take me a while to get used to this thing. ...And everything else. [She sighs and runs her hand through her short hair.] But I suppose everyone else has managed it, so I will too.
I suppose... If people are going to be able to see this I should introduce myself. My name's... [pause, seems to be debating something] Polly Perks. [Sitting back, she fiddles with her uniform, bringing a small bag of coffee out of a pocket. Snorts.] I can't believe I still have this but no tea. I'd kill for a decent cup right now. I suppose that'll have to wait for tomorrow too. [She throws it onto the desk.]
[Stops herself from thinking about it with a shake of her head.] I should start a list of things to do tomorrow so I can try and organise my thoughts already. I don't want to miss anything out that I need to do. [Pause, leans forward to fiddle with the Gooseberry she's using to transmit with.]
I hope that the damn imp actually sends this.
