First Reflection 鏡 Video
[The feed clicks on to a man, who looks like he has literally been through hell. He's got a multitude of bruises on his extremely pale and sickly skin, and it's obviously an effort to hold his arms up, let alone sit up properly. It seems he's currently undergoing medical treatment by the SERO employees; he's in a medical room, as evidenced by the posters of the human body and the jars of tongue depressors and cotton balls. He speaks slowly, sounding tired and raspy.] Ah, so this must be how it works... I see. [He then shifts the camera closer to his face, his voice growing a little louder.] Hello? Is anyone out there?
[Suddenly he shoves the NV into his pocket as the door to the medical room opens, and Kyoji's voice is muffled, but present.] Ah, bandages aren't really necessary...! [One of the agents says something inaudible, to which Kyoji replies:] All right. [He seems to have the NV attached to his wrist, now, because the video soon shows a SERO employee, a woman in her late forties with her graying hair tied back in a tight bun. Now the employee's voice is loud and clear: "How does a scientist like you sustain such injuries?"] It's a long story. Could I please have some water? [The SERO agent says, "Of course", and leaves, the sound of her clicking heels against concrete quite audible, leaving the injured Kyoji in the room for a moment alone while she gets him some water out in the hallway.
As soon as the door closes, Kyoji shuffles his NV around to quickly respond to the device again.] Hello? Can anyone tell me just what's going on? These SERO people seem reluctant to talk about anything. All I know is that I'm... nngh... [His face contorts with pain for a moment and his other arm grabs his side. He's still feeling the aftereffects of some injury in his world.] ... on the planet Earth, and this device is supposed to connect to other "Newcomers"... at least, that's what I've been told. Are there any Newcomers out there who could help me?
Also, there's... one more thing I'd like to ask, if I may. [His face, though still in a pained grimace, obviously has glints of hope reflecting in his eyes.] The men from SERO tell me that someone named Domon Kasshu just passed through their tests yesterday. Does anyone know where he is? Thank you.
(( ooc: So I'm going to post for Kyoji and tag really slow for the next few days with this guy and France and Jake, because finals start this week. Domon's going to pick Kyoji up and help him limp over to the Starter Apartments so don't worry about him. :3 ))
