[ The stairs and cats apparently have it in for Ella today. She's... been doing her level best to avoid them for the time being. Easy enough to do until she goes home, since she has to go upstairs to get to her room. Fortunately, at the moment she was at work. ]
I honestly don't know what the fuss is about this day - but we don't have this kind of superstition back home. On the other hand if black cats attack your ankles everytime this day comes around, I might understand what the big deal is. Still pretty weird for something like that to happen to affect them like that.
Our superstitions are relatively tame by comparison, I think. But it can't be just me - did anyone else have a ...strange experience today?
