[ There's pure darkness on the screen, ink black except--hah, you could tell that there was something there, hiding in the shadows. The light glances across- him? it?, skittered like an oil slick. Then, something peeled off from the shadows

And... if so, she has a hunch that Joker's going to think the fun has just begun. But still.
Okay, okay. What do you say...]
Um, hi.
[...really?!]

Raven.
What the Joker did before- do you still have samples remaining?

Uh-- of the water? Or of the effects on me? I mean-- I have both, I guess. I mean, uh, there's some of that disgusting green hair--[wait was that unprofessional]--around here. [In fact it keeps turning up, damn it.] And they kept a lot of the water because they had to test if the leak was fixed.
[Oh Azar, is she rambling? She shuts up.]

I can get them. I mean, the hair is in my room, so... I have that. And I'll ask Jubilee or someone where the water is.

Has the hair been in contact with anything?
[ I am so sorry he goes straight into INTERROGATION sob. ]

And, well-- nothing chemical. It's just... what you'd expect to find as, um, forensic evidence anywhere, I guess. [oh god is that the right word]

How much do you trust these people?
Reply
...well, I trust them enough to think that they'll keep me safe, in general. But there was something really off about how they hunted down the Plaster Killer--you might know about that already, I guess. It was... not ethical. In my opinion. Actually, I think it was nearly criminal, and it certainly didn't make the Newcomers look good. That was mostly the two Xaviers. When there were two of them.
[She pauses; she's hesitant to talk about Jubilee, who she likes. Finally, she decides to just leave it at that.]
So... they would go farther in support of their goals than I would. Including... maybe... things that are criminal.
But that's just the feeling I get from my readings.
