Friday, April 29th was the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton, the grandson and granddaughter-in-law of Queen Elizabeth the II of England. While this may be of no interest to many, as an individual who served her predecessor, Queen Victoria, it's only proper to watch the happenings of an event I would have been invited to if it had taken place back in the late 19th century.
While it may seem a bit outlandish, I need a large order of scones baked and ready before five o'clock. Four dozen of them would seem about right. So long as someone can do the job, I'll pay them for their time and effort.
Snake. Gilbert. There needs to be tea cakes and cookies and other sweet pleasantries ready for tea at five. Alois? You're to accompany me to watch the broadcast and take tea. No excuses whatsoever.
[There's a bit of a pause as he mutters to himself more than anything.] I wonder if they'll show the cake...
