[ There's a giant, bright yellow chick in the fairgrounds.

It waves a stubby wing(?) at the camera. Abruptly, a horde of children shrieking for candy suddenly tackle it, bringing it down with the kind of ferocity one might expect from creatures of the Cenozoic era than six-year-olds. After a few minutes of filming the cloudy, overcast sky, the camera feed ends. ]

[ Ten minutes or so later, the feed switches on again. This time, it's somewhere indoors, and more dimly lit. The chick is back, but this time, it reaches up and twists off its head... revealing Yako, who's grinning despite the fact that she's obviously sweating buckets. ]
Being a mascot is harder work than I thought. I think I've got a whole new level of respect for anyone who does this for a living... [ The only reason she's here at all is that she needed a bit of extra cash after she lost her wallet while trying to track down a certain someone. Sighing, she leans back on her hands. ]
The egg hunt in the fairgrounds doesn't start until after lunch, so there's plenty of time to join in if you want to! The kids are already pretty excited. [ Too bad she's not allowed to sample any of the actual candy herself... ] Seems like there's another egg hunt going on in Sector 1, though, so I might try my luck at that after this one's over.
