Tuesday November 8th, 10am | Open to more than one person because of the monsters frombanora November 8 2011, 16:32:37 UTC
Angeal does not come quietly, his mind is clouded by the instincts of the monsters he had absorbed, of the goal he moved forward to achieve. It was a selfish one, death at the hand of his student, the one who could handle beating the monster he had become, the one he had become even more to prove that he was the torment of the world.

Angeal Penance breaks the late morning quietness at the baseball diamond with its arrival, the monstrous form towering over the pitcher's mound and unsteady on its feet. The final blow had already been struck though, making him weak, the voids furthering that as the effects latch onto him.

The monster collapses onto its front knees, an unearthly sound escaping it as it felt itself being torn apart. One voice spilt into many; one for each part: griffon, ahriman, hound, sahagin, man. Each bore his face as their mark, they are his, but Angeal is weakened but not how he should be.

This was not the Lifestream, this was not death; As he raises his head and brilliant blue eyes looked out at what was around him, he knows.

Modeoheim this was not... But where?

Asch was patrolling the outskirts of the baseball field as usual, when it suddenly erupted into screams. Monsters didn't exactly come out in the day time, and even he had to pause, eyes widening in surprise. He ripped his sword out of its sheath in the next moment, however, launching himself out onto the field. He didn't care that he wasn't supposed to be on the field -- half the greeters couldn't fight worth a damn anyway.

His sword lashed out as soon as he was close enough, a Fang Blade headed straight for the first monstrosity.

They do not indeed, and the Angeal copies react to the screams with growls of their own, not going after anyone just yet, held back by the disoriented man kneeling on the diamond, the Buster Sword in hand, strength only exerted to keep the blade from lying in the dirt.

He isn't downed yet, and though he feels heavy and knows he is injured, he doesn't know why.

The screams of the people and monsters around him do rouse Angeal into action though, standing up with a bit of a stagger. "Cease!" If the words to Asch and his attack or to the monsters, it was hard to tell, but they do pull back around the man, save for the flying monster impaled on the redhead's sword.

Asch flung the monster off of his sword, ignoring it as it landed lifelessly off to the side. He raised his sword to strike at another when he realized they were withdrawing around a single man.

He paused, before holding his sword up to guard, edging forward cautiously. "Are these your monsters?" he demanded.

He forces his breathing steady now, despite weakness and injuries- he can feel them seeping though him, making him bone tired and Angeal isn't surprised. There was suppose to be a final blow, he had felt a much, and yet, here they were, pulled to somewhere he can't quite identify.

But, first thing was first.

"Something like that." His own weapon is raised, not quite threatening just yet, but in his hands. The other does not know he will refuse to use it to fight however, if it comes down to it, the Buster Sword's value much more than that. "They will not bring harm."

"I don't care, get rid of them," Asch snapped. Unlike Angeal, he was not afraid to attack, despite the fact it looked like this guy was going to keel over any minute. "The people here aren't used to monsters appearing during the day. Get rid of them, and we'll be able to get a medical team here to help you."

His eyes narrow briefly at the other, but there was little to argue about, the fact laid bare for the both of them. Angeal shifts, bring up his sword and securing it to his back in a smooth motion before he turns to the monsters behind him.

"I understand." And there was only one way of course. magic gathers in his hand before blasted out, ridding the diamond of the monsters, the bodies disappearing quite quickly after, even the one Asch taken care of.

"..." He takes a long moment to breath before turning back to the other, words heavy. "My apologies for causing trouble."

Asch swore at the magic, not expecting it. It was fortunate he already had his sword up, guarding his face, or he would have been really irate. He gave Angeal an annoyed glare once the monsters disappeared, before sheathing his sword, sparing a glance behind him to one of the greeters.

"Don't stand there gawking!" he snapped. "Go call the hospital!"

The greeter scurried off with a yelp, like Asch had just shot him in the ass.

Well. Wasn't this a spectacular way to fail at dying. Angeal straightens and looks at the other, before his eyes slide away and around the the stadium. There doesn't seem to be much here, other than people that seemed to be coming back after he had scared them off.

"I suppose you wouldn't believe me if I said I didn't need a doctor, then." Dry humor directed at the other man, before Angeal starts to move out of the center of the field.

"Obviously not," Asch replied, glaring at his back as he started to leave. "Where do you think you're going?"

"Seeing where I am." He says, voice steady despite the weakness shown before. Angeal cannot allow himslef to relax, at least not yet. Not to mention he was has no intention in going to the hospital. Perhaps he could politley refuse. "No need to worry, I won't go far."

"Don't leave the field," Asch said, the warning that he would have no problems arresting him and throwing him in jail obvious in his tone.

...he's not missing the irony of the situation either. At least the only thing he did was throw someone when they arrived at the Port.

"I will not have to, if I can find the information here." Angeal's words are light, despite himself, keeping his emotions tightly locked- even he is unsure as to how he feels at the moment.

Sorry; I was having trouble thinking of a reply. not_the_dreck November 9 2011, 21:31:54 UTC
"You will, after the paramedics get here," Asch replied stubbornly. He eyed a few of the Greeters, who didn't look like they wanted to go anywhere near a man that could bring monsters into the daylight.

"But giving out orders isn't really in your jurisdiction, now is it, Asch?"

A silky, teasing voice weaved across the field from a woman striding across the baseball diamond in the dark-haired man's direction. Her emergence was as discreet as the waning shadows of sunrise, sleek and subtle, until she revealed her own presence. However, in the sheer light of the morning, the striking colors of purple and black, along with the glint of gold, set her apart from the tepid, monotonous hues of the dirt field. With her form thickly enshrouded in a robe and half of her face eclipsed by a hood, she may have seemed more like an amorphous shape, defined by the fluttering of fabric and forward momentum. Only the feminine build of slender legs and the elegant tread of short, black stilettos bestowed her with a sense of humanity.

"You aren't even supposed to be here," she sweetly continued, amusement lightening her tone with an undercurrent of fondness. "But your intentions were well-meaning, so for that reason alone, it can be excused. However, I would appreciate it if you wouldn't speak to him in such a demanding tone. Not everyone likes being treated quite so roughly."

Unlike the other Greeters, she held no fear of the man in charge of the unusual creatures that he evidently brought with him. However, by the time that she made it to their location, the situation was under control, and the new arrival seemed prepared to leave.

Slowly, she drew to a stop before the newcomer, before she reached up to clutch the corners of her hood. It whispered delicately, like the rustle from sheaves of paper, as she gingerly slipped it back to give him the courtesy of eye contact. "Welcome to the city of Siren’s Port," she warmly greeted him, a serene smile curving lips glossed in violet. "I am Caster. We..." She briefly glanced in the redhead's direction to indicate whom she meant. "...were once in your position, and it is my duty now to inform anyone who arrives here about their circumstances."

A darkly gloved hand extended from the folds of her robe to press against her chest in a genuinely earnest gesture. "Please stay. While we wait for the paramedics, I will pass the time by telling you what you want to know."

Not at all! frombanora November 10 2011, 16:03:22 UTC
Stubborn the other man was, Angeal had no real place to argue, besides the fact that he was injured, and that he knew little about the situation at all. As much as he would of liked to argue, he simply raises a hand to show he understood Asch.

There was another approching them as well, it seemed, speaking to the both of them, scolding the redhead before turning her words to Angeal. The SOLDIER smiles just briefly-He has his own experiences with stubborn redheads- before tilting his head down to the woman, returning the small sign of respect.

"With an offer like that, I could hardly turn such down."
