Where: Grocery shopping in the morning, out and about the city throughout the day, in the AGI sector at night and finally going home to his pseudo-family in the Church around midnight.

Fourth of July. They may be in Canada, but if he had anything to say about it, they were going to have a cook out, and grilled food, and all those other things. They were Americans, and they were gonna act like 'em ( ... )

Of course, Genesis had no idea that his birthday had anything to do with any real festivities in this world. It amused him somewhat, though, to see perhaps a few shopping carts pass by with people stocking up what seemed to be festival food of some sort.

Mostly frozen goods.

It made him curious to what was going on. But his curiosity was diverted for a moment as he noticed some woman violently regarding one of the newcomer customers. Sometimes, he had to wonder how these people knew the difference between a newcomer and a native.

He came over to the boy who had spilled his groceries.

"It's a rather hostile environment for outsiders here, isn't it?"

Kevin looked up and shrugged, picking up the last of his groceries. "Ain't so bad." He finally looked up and frowned. "Ya a newcomer too?"

He didn't remember the guy, but that didn't mean much.

To be frank, Genesis didn't remember this man so much either-- although there was something familiar about his face.

The church always seems to have a rare sort of peace to it, even when it became loud. Such an occurrence was not as uncommon as one thought, when the Church's Angels and their family spent so much time there.

At the moment, Yazoo found himself perched on the outside structure of the cathedral, perched atop the overhang above the entrance. If it was hot out, he did not seem to notice much, simply people watching as they come and go, pass the church.

Despite the name of the Church and the inhabitants within it (Sephiroth's remnants), Genesis appreciated the odd peace to it which kept it apart from the rest of the city. It was almost as if the place truly had an aura of holiness to it. But of course, Genesis would think that it should be true of all places of worship.

He passed by the church within the day this time as he had the free time to spare. As he passed, he noticed a familiar figure perched atop the overhang.

"People-watching, Yazoo?" He called out to the remnant, amused by what he was currently doing. He couldn't deny that this one was his personal favorite between the two brothers.

How Liquid hated this day. It was almost as bad as Bonfire Night back in England, a ridiculous farce that drove him mad with annoyance. Even worse, the thing they were celebrating was untrue - especially in his world. The Patriots had their hands in both England and America after all. Nobody was truly free.

Around the corner came a little girl, running so fast that she almost slammed right into him. Almost, that is, save for Liquid's remarkable agility. In the second or two before she impacted, he leapt, twisted and landed in a crouch on the ground. The girl offered no apology, only a vague insult as she disappeared into the distance. Wretched fools. He detested them.

Lifting his head, he carelessly noticed the legs in front of him and the long red coat in front of his face. "Hello," he remarked, lifting his head further to look at Genesis' face.

Really, there weren't many people who wore clothes like that.

"That was quite the show of agility, Liquid."

Genesis tilts his head a little, just a tad amused. "We're similar in that aspect, then."
