[It was the liveliness around the club that caught Gin's attention, and all the costumed people that brought him in. Sure, he get the memo about dressing up beforehand, but decked out in his Hueco Mundo robes... either he'll go unnoticed, or he pass himself off as a ghost.]

[But goodness - with such a party, where does he start~?]

[She had said she was going to come to the party, and of course she came in costume. Well, this was a good enough costume she had dressed in as before, and it didn't even cost her a thing. But she did make her way over to Gin standing alone there, a smile on her lips, the rest of her face hidden by her mask.]

I thought ghosts were supposed to be traditional bedsheets with eyeholes?

Ha! What's scary about that kind of poltergeist, hm~?

[Laughs.] Not too scary, though I know a few who would beg to differ. How you doing, Gin?

This whole thing- [He motions throughout the club with a hand.] -was a surprise to find, so I'm in well enough spirits.

Is that because you've been drinking spirits, or are you just that happy? [She grins, putting a hand on her hip and looking out at the club.]

Thank you! Last time I wore this I took a whole island with me. I figured it'd be appropriate.

[She looks at him, her eyes flashing through the mask as she shrugged with a smile.]

This Count decided to hide his island in the past. To have a perfect day, everyday. I had someone help me break open the gate, and we crashed his masquerade. It was fun!

Next time I need to crash a party, I'll invite you along. [Laughs a little as she adjusts the mask. She remembered it like it was yesterday; but then, everyday was like yesterday for her.]

Venice was always such a beautiful city. Even with all the grime over the years. [In the little extra Sandman book, "Endless Nights", it's the first story.] That Count was such a nice fellow, though. He was just scared of me. That's why he decided ton use sorcery to hide from me.

It's normally so much trouble to make the transition, though~ Even if we're stayin' invisible to humans, we have ta wait fer the gate to be opened...
