Anime LA 2011 and the Blue 4
Oh man. Anime LA 2011 this year was kind of an experience. Hahaha. MOSTLY. Because it was me and Blue being the organizers instead of being the moochers like last year. So on Thursday, I picked up Julie and Blue and went to the LAX Travelodge. Good shit, man. We registered like...2 people...and stuffed like 7 in. CRY. Anyway. Blue got an artist alley table cause she got it in time. lol and I was just there as a cosplayer, not an artist = 3 =
BUT. Me being me. Forgot the biggest part of my costume aka the mage staffs. So Julie and I had to drive back to my house to get it. DERP. Though as we got back, I got the wig for Kiki from Kiku. SO IT'S ALL GOOD.
Anyway. Around 7 the North Californians (and Meaka) came * v * And it was party timeeeee. YEAAAAH.
This was our group on Thursday. lol Romano was gonna be there for the entire weekend....giving nighmares to children.
Blue made a list of shit to bring but she spelled her name the French way. ANYWAY. That night we ordered pizzas and watched Mean Girls * v * YAAAAAAY. And then everyone went to bed lol.
The thing about me is that I wake up REALLY stupidly early...so I unofficially became the group's alarm clock?? SO ANYWAY. At 7, we all got up. And technically by 8 we crawled to Denny's for breakfast!
Mmm. Coffee.
Anime LA was chill though. Not gonna lie lol. THEY GOT THESE BENCHES. So cute.
And then we met up with Egypt!anon * v *
AND FOR SOME REASON. Julie thought it'd be a good idea to take a picture of me rearranging my socks. lol...Julie...NO. I'm wearing bloomers. It's okay, man. lol
The sad things about not working in the AA though is that you LITERALLY just sit down, walk around and then sit down some more. Hahaha.
I did however met up with my friend Ikashi * v * We were friends in the Naruto fandom (well...more specifically Kakashi/Iruka) together! It was really nice to see her before she had to go back to Japan.
Also met up with Glendale!anon who keep bringing out my inner gangster side = A = and when you're cosplaying a white mage...that's...a problem. Hahaha.
Julie has problem with spelling Black Mage...
And that was pretty much the end of the first day. lol We went back to the hotel later on to go swimming - 3 - and we went to Walmart to get food AND IT WAS SCARY AND GHETTO. And then I went to pick up Blue and I think we pretty much just...chilled.......lol
ANYWAY. Second day. I was Kiki for the second day. And in the morning we went to Con Suite for food. OH. And Kelcie joined us the night before * v * so yeaaaah~ While I was at con suite. I got 2 awards for my Kiki costume. WAH!!!! It was my first ever award for cosplay so I was so excited!!
Ignore how derp I look. Hahaha
Greece got this Turkey (and matching Greece) plushie that she can take the clothes off...it's kinda...strange. Hahaha.
Kelcie and Julie are relatively chill for people who don't even know what the meme really is (well Julie kinda does but whatever)

But anyway. Before that. We decided to have a meme meet up/lunch at Burger King cause...we were hungry and broke. lol

Like, shit got SUPER competitive. Hahaha. And everyone usually get fucked over when the Blue 4 is played. Thus the phrase "the harsh mistress of Uno" (coined by Julie) started coming into play.

So the dance was that night so Blue, Greece, myself, Julie and Kelcie decided to go to it.
...but the music SUCKED. lmfao Like REALLY badly. So we ended up watching a guy stack cups...
It was SO cool...
And then we went to grab breakfast at 2 AM and just went back to the room. lol
MAN. The dance at PMX was so fun. And this one was just like...aaaah. What.
BUT ANYWAY. The next day was the Hetalia gathering!!
I was Sey cause Ikashi wanted me to be at the gathering with her C: even though EVERYONE cosplays Seychelles...it's like the female Canada....
But Greece found her Turkey!!
