I love the zoo! What about you?
So my parents decided to go to the Los Angeles Zoo today. It was exciting! Mum got the tickets from her customer so we didn't even have to pay to get in. it was a good day. Hahaha. It was really hot. Aaaaah. But not really. I woudl have rather gone on a day that wasn't as sunny. * w * But it was a good day overall.
THERE WAS NO ELEPHANTS. I was quite angry. /o\ Because I love elephants. HOWEVER. My little brother and I played at the playground and there was an elephant statue there.
Also. A camel
Why yes I am a very mature college student. *s-sob*
A lot of the area was really fun. I went there for Halloween with my friend. lol But it was fun being with my family too. Hahaha. THEY WERE SO EASILY AMUSED.
"OMG LOOK IT'S A TIGER!!"
"...Yeah. Yeah it is, Mom."
I loved the area though. The botanical part of it was pretty.
This was near the aviary. <3 Pretty flowers. And they smelled really nice too!
One of my favorite area are the Asia section. Because
MOTHER FUCKING BRIDGE!! HELL YEAH. I love bridges~ Soooo much.
And there was this pagoda place too * w *
You can sit and watch the monkeys in there. Also there was a sign that told story of the monkey king. It was fun. I actually just...took advantage of the fact that there were chairs....BECAUSE I AM A SLAVE TO FASHION AND WORE HEELS THERE.
Alright so heels to a ZOO, where you walk the majority of the time for 3.5 hours was kind of a dumb choice. But I looked kinda fierce * w *
OHOHOHO CHECK OUT THAT FIERCE BITCH WITH THE GIRAFFES.
Also. Yes. That is my mother. She is quite short.
It was reeeeeally hot though. So I dragged everyone to the waterfall after a while to cool down * w *
I love caves....I hope next time that I go back to Vietnam, I can go explore and climb a few more. lol (No I don't actually wear heels when I do it officially :'D)
Overall though. it was a good day at the zoo!
We went home waaaay before schedule and even stopped by a Baskin Robbins to get ice cream before going home. Nom nom! I am absolutely in LOVE with this flavor that is out right now. Nom nom! The best combo ever is Cherry Jubilee and Watermelon Ice.
SO GOOD!
It's kinda bad that there is a Baskin Robbins so close to my house......god I'm gonna be a fatty by the end of summer.
But yeaaah. Sorry for the inconsistency in this entry. I'm kinda exhausted. lol
