Party Planning

Okay so, my homie Tiffany brought up the idea that maybe we should have our birthday party at a skating rink. Her b-day is 3 days after mine. Not such a bad idea, I like skating but...DX I just know they don't play my type of music (one of the reasons I didn't go to prom). If I can't break it down to Rokkeugo at a skating rink, my life just will ( Read more... )

Nope...it would've been totally pointless for me to go. I don't really listen to American music, and at the time I wasn't really into dancing (well, I'm still not into dancing, unless you count flailing along to Balloons XD), so I didn't want to be sitting around for hours listening to a bunch of music I didn't know. And I was kinda broke at the time, so it was cost-effective not to go, although if I really wanted to my mom would've made a way.

Eh, that was wayyy back in 07, and I don't regret it :3 BUT YOU SHOULD TOTALLY GO~!

oh...
but mine's even more pointless though, but i'm going cause it's fun dressing up:D
hahahas. cause i'm asian, and singapore dont have those 'wow' kind of prom. but since i'm from all girls, independent/elite school, we go to a super high class restaurant/hotel with one whole ballroom booked.
and i need to pay 80SGD$ for that meal =.=
and no dancing too. plus we cant really bring dates(as if i have) and ur date have to pay his own share of 80bucks =.=

Really? I hope you have a great time! You'll be posting pics, right?
I'm not even 100% sure how they do it here, but I think it's about the same, except you can bring a date, you're supposed to. And it costs a lot.
