My last full weekend as a high school student
Friday night I went to the Broadway Cares/ Equity Fight AIDS musical theater showcase. Well, half of it. It was cute. I'm a nerd and really like musicals. Then at intermission jetted off to the second half of the melbourne jazz gig. Could be my last time as a Jazz groupie- I had to be there! And I actually came in handy this time :o) I knew that keychain flashlight dad gave me for christmas would come in handy some day. So i pretty much love outside gigs and it rocked my life. Then boys night+ Ariel at hoppy's where we played Trouble!
Saturday was cleaning day. oh joy. But it does feel nice having a cleanerish house. And then orchestra concert. major PMS not fun, but Liz's afterward was :o) CIRCLE!
Yesterday was Mother's day but Mum didn't feel well so we just bummed around at home and I made lunch for everyone. Then I helped Mum make a MySpace... Hopefully that'll work out okay..... Baccalaureate was a really nice ceremony. A little awkward considering dad's stance on churches, but I was really glad they came to watch me speak. I was surprised how calm I was up there since I was nervous beforehand, but I actually think public speaking is kind of fun. I was almost a little disappointed when it was over.
Today was a fun skip day with the girlies. Breakfast, dress shopping, eyebrows, lunch, beach, pool, baking, then photoing not so fun. Looks like i'm pretty much on my own for this senior collage for the directors. Wing night was kinda fun... I think my dad's nickname could actually be Captain Obvious sometimes.
