(no subject)
Proud new owner of an '09 Yaris sedan here. Black sand pearl. I kind of want to call her something related to Pirates of the Caribbean because of the color... but I also like Sophie Fatale, because she kind of feels like a Sophie. We'll see what comes to mind after her maiden commute.
It was pretty sad to let Marvin go. The last song we heard together was "Head Games" by Foreigner, which leads me to believe he was really hurt and upset by my leaving him... but we had a great run together and I think I was a good deathbed bride for his end-of-life care.
The Yaris is... fucking sweet thus far. It definitely has more features than I thought it would, it's even bigger inside than I remembered it (which is WAY bigger than I initially thought it would be), and it drives (for lack of a better way to phrase it) like it SHOULD be my car. It's really comfortable. I'm happy about it.
Insurance is... more expensive than I'd hoped, but everything always is. And apparently I got an awesome rate considering my age and history.
Finally... my fucking cell phone is toasted.. I don't know if I'll be able to get it running again after it dries out, but if you ever want to hear from me again, you should probably post your number here. Comments are screened :)
