So yesterday was a pretty fucking horrible day, made worse by the fact that I was scheduled to fly into Denver a few hours after 6 or more tornadoes touched down less than 5 miles from my hometown. Thankfully, everyone I know is okay, although a few spent the afternoon huddling in basements. The damage in Windsor is unbelievable and I am pretty thankful my parents didn't build the house they were planning on since I think that neighborhood got hit pretty hard.
So despite feeling like the fates were doing everything they could to keep me from getting to the CO last night, I am here, safe and about to head out for breakfast and much coffee with my friends and the bride-to-be.
