We were at a doc appt. for him and the LPN was saying she and her husband weren't going to find out the sex of their baby, well, until the birth, at least (there WAS a reason we had gotten on to this topic.) She said, what Brent always says about the topic, "There really is no bigger surprise in life."
Tristan chimes in in his very adult, I've-thought-this-all-through tone of his: "Unless it's a surprise attack. If those people who don't like us got planes that could get all the way over here...Iraq...if they could get over here with planes and they bombed us, now that would be a bigger surprise."
My goodness, that kid never ceases to amaze. The nurse, having never met Tristan before, was quite shocked and amused by his intellect.
