I was skimming through old entries and thought this was re-production worthy:
The kids went out to Grandma and Grandpa's on Saturday to watch The Wizard of Oz. It was the first time the kids had ever seen it. When they came home we were full of questions for them: who was their favorite person in the film (Aislinn's answer: "The little DOG!") Were there any scary parts? Did they remember and of the songs? Etc, etc.
Well, they start to tell us the story, beginning with the tornado. Aislinn, who just turned six, is giving a dramatic retelling of the house spinning 'round and 'round, only she finds it humorous. Then she tells us of Dorothy and Toto's arrival in Munchkinland. She stops her retelling to look up at us quizzically and asks, "What the hell is up with Munchkinland?" I think it was at this point that I peed my pants.
