I did some interior decorating today! Yes, me. Ha!
I've had black and white checkerboard-pattern (as in race car flags) fabric for well over a year now that I was going to use to sew curtains for Tristan's room, but never got around to it. Well, I finally did today, except it's been so long that the curtains had to be made for a completely different room than I had intended when I bought the fabric!
Now Tristan and Shaw have a cool race car check flag curtain for the door for their closet and a matching valance! Together with Tristan's NASCAR bedding and racing posters, it looks nice.
I'm going to take Aislinn to Wal-Mart in the next couple days so she can pick out material for her curtains. She's in Tristan's old room, so she's got trains for her closet curtain and, shit, I can't even think of what the other one is, some sort of vehicles for he curtain (I made them and everything and look at them eveyday and can't think of what is one them!) They are both beautiful, colorful, brilliant prints, but Aislinn should get to have something she likes that's special to her.
I have a feeling we're going to have a Strawberry Shortcake bedroom. :-)
