Shaw turns 3 tomorrow. His grandma was up this weekend and brought his presents, one of which is a soccer ball with four orange cones (like construction cones) about 8" tall to use for marking the goals.
It rained for two days straight here. We had, at times, 30-35 mph winds, along with temps that never braved venturing above 44 degrees fahrenheit. I complained that, listening to the rain taking suicidal runs onto our home's exterior, we might as well be living on the Aleutian islands.
Where is this leading? Well, it's cold and wet outside so the soccer set is being used in the house. So, I'm on the phone with someone trying to figure out daycare for Fall semester and I look up when I hear Aislinn say the quote of the WEEK:
"Look, I have big, pointy, orange boobies!"
But my little girl gets hungry ev'ry night and she comes home to me!
