Kitties went to the vet
Ziggy's been sneezing and I wanted to make sure it was nothing to worry about. Saw a different vet at the same practice. Ziggy went first because of the sneezes. Other than being a fat moose, which I already knew, she said he's fine. His lungs are clear, no nasal obstructions, just sneezes. Of course, I had to explain that I shave Ziggy because he's a terrible groomer and can't reach his back, and she said it's 'cause he's plump. Then Mom mentioned how Johann licked his temples bald. The vet kinda looked at the boys for a second and said that she'd heard of cats stress-grooming themselves, but not their buddies. Then she looked at Ziggy and said "And you just let him do it, too!"
Then Johann had his turn. He's apparently a little heavy too, 14 pounds to Ziggy's 17.4, and has a moderate heart murmur. He got a rabies jab, and I need to start brushing his teeth. They bot got a prescription for time with a laser pointer and make-kitty-skinny food.
