I wish I'd known that earlier
Two things I wish I had known earlier in playing Dark Souls-
There is a giant red dragon that swoops down on a bridge and incinerates everything in sight. I knew he would do that. What I wish I'd known about it was that even though the lower level of the bridge makes a lovely sniper's nest, the dragon heals too quickly to make it viable. He needs to be engaged from the roadway, where you can do more damage than he can recover. 5000 soul lesson learned.
Also, eventually you meet an NPC who eats junk and gives souls in exchange. You have infinite storage space too. Had I known this, I would never have dumped all of those junk drops.
Live and learn. Or, die and learn, as the case may be.
