Ok, it looks as though I'm gonna get a tattoo from Jo Harrison.
She's amazing, she works at the studio where I got my back done, but it's like, impossible to get a booking with her..
This Sunday, there is a convention in Birmingham, and Jo will be tattooing there.
On the off chance, I emailed the studio to see if she has any slots free, and she's got one at 5pm... I said I was interested in getting some cherry blossoms round my right wrist, Jo suggested maybe a peony flower with cherry blossoms in the background.
I'm not too fussed about the design on this one, I want to give the artist some freedom, so I said that sounds ace, and I wanted something a bit different that can be added to in the future.
Jo would love to do this piece. So I've emailed them with my approx wrist size and they reckon it'll be about 3 - 4 hours, depending on the size of my wrist, but my hands are dinky, so no worries.. At the wrist bone, I measure approx 6.5 inches. I have always loved the fact I have slender wrists. I'm most pround of that.
It's gonna cost a fortune, but hey, it's only money, and I love being tattooed and you don't pass up the chance to get inked by amazing artists...
So, this time next week, I could be posting a piccie of my lovely new tattoo!
