1) i am really starting to dislike dane cook. way too overexposed.
2) i am in need of an clothing-related opinion.
a while ago, i had asked you wonderful friends of mine to give me your opinions on some
coats.
(for the record, i ended up going with
this one in white with teal and brown accents.)
however, this coat, while exceptionally warm and awesome, is a little TOO casual for...pretty much everything that does not involve making snow angels and de-icing my car and shoveling my sidewalk. so i made it my mission to find a coat that was a happy medium between that one and my long, black, three-button dress coat. actually, i had a very specific mission: to find a fitted, camel-colored, hip-length, high quality peacoat - they're gorgeous and classic and will never NOT be in style. but this season, all the peacoats i found were either super boxy, super cropped, or super shitty in the quality department.
and then i walked into j.crew, and saw the prettiest coats ever - because it's j.crew. and lo and behold, there was a pretty, fitted, hip-length peacoat. in white. hmmm. but it fit so nicely and was 90% of what i was looking for in the first place that i snagged it on impulse. and then, my stupid ass decides to take a look online, and there are MORE COLORS for the peacoat that i have JUST purchased that are only available ON THE INTERNET. INCLUDING CAMEL.
so. do i make the effort and get the camel coat - as it will be easier to keep clean and was what i wanted in the first place? OR, do i keep what i have, as i've already become attached to it because it is so damn pretty? either way, i end up with a gorgeous, classic, well-fitting coat that will go with everything, i just don't know which to go for!
