a pictoral quickie
this will be interesting to all of about five people, and me.
merryprankster went downtown today to look at REALLY. EXPENSIVE. THINGS. before she moves to JAPAN for a YEAR. we've been planning to do this for at LEAST a year and some change and finally had an occassion to do so.
here's a picture that sums this day up perfectly:
we went to sak's, louis vuitton, botega venetta, and chanel. we passed on burberry, coach and ferragamo. and it's safe to say we drooled quite a bit. especially in chanel.
anyhow, this excursion was not without point. when i was still job hunting, i decided that when i obtained a "real job" that i would treat myself to something i'd been wanting for quite some time: a dior bag.
well...
to the victor goes the spoils...this bag is like my child. i can't stop looking at it or touching it. i'm almost in awe of it. boys get like this over cars....girls get like this over purses.
PS: my new job starts on september 5th. between now and then i have a wedding to rehearse and attend, and my hometown's annual labor day carnival to walk through while eating funnel cake while waiting for the fireworks.
AND! i get to test drive new mazdas and lexus's.
